ascination with art. From a very early age she loved watching her mother draw. She looked up to her mother, and could not wait for the day the she would make her proud. Young Cedeno was always been doodling, practicing for when she could become an artist just like her mother. In third grade she was enrolled into her school’s after school art program. This would be the foundation that shaped her into the successful artist she has become today.

While attending Marian, Cedeno has taken art for the past two years. In those two years, her passion for the arts has deepened since, “Art lets me express myself fully because in art there is not a right or wrong, as artists we just all differ in taste.”  Cedeno’s mother should be very proud of her achievements.

Cedeno has earned many awards this past year, as she received a scholarship for placing in the top 5 to 7% of artists in the Midwest for her graphite piece of a tree where the branches formed a face. She was also recognized by the Marian art director, Mrs. Widmayer winning best Senior Artist of the year.
