For any of you who are interested in the animated series Bob’s Burgers then there is a big surprise for you! Out now is the Bob’s Burgers Cookbook by Loren Bouchard and the writers of Bob’s Burgers. The recipes, however, are by Cole Bowden. Bowden’s recipes came from a blog he started called The Bob’s Burger Experiment. In the blog he took the burgers that fans will know are written on the “Burger of the Day” board in every episode and created recipes for them. When the writers from the show heard about his blog and how much fans were enjoying it they decided to work with him and create the cookbook. I decided to take four burgers from the book and make them to see how they turned out, and I have to say I was not disappointed.

Burger #1 The New Bacon-ings Burger

This one is pretty much just a bacon cheeseburger, but the book does tell you how to season the meat and make it taste delicious. It is a nice simple burger that is easy to make.

Burger #2 The Bruschetta Bout It Burger

If you’re a big fan of bruschetta then you will love this burger. The meat, tomatoes, mozzarella, and bread all blend together wonderfully and is a super fun way to try something different.

Burger #3 The Never Been Feta Burger

This burger is again somewhat simple but really good. It is topped and stuffed with feta cheese and the book teaches you how to make a special sauce to go along with it. It can be a little messy when cooking it but totally worth it.

Burger #4 The Chainsaw Massa-curd Burger

This burger was my personal favorite out of the four. It was partly because of the name but mostly for the taste. It is definitely not for someone who can’t deal with the habanero peppers that are chopped finely and mixed into the meat. However, if you can take the heat I highly recommend trying this out!

Overall I found this cookbook very well written and very fun to use. I recommend it and can’t wait to use it again. I give it a solid five out of five stars!
