Look around this week, and you’ll notice new scenery decking the Marian halls: colorful signs, all handmade by NHS members. Some are decorated with balloons and gift boxes, while others try to catch the eyes of passersby with simple colorful flair. In the entire school, there is only one poster that is bedazzled, with a single slice of cake drawn on; bonus points if you can find it. All of these posters are meant to advertise the same thing: National Honor Society’s “Birthday Boxes” service project.

Traveling is not a stranger to senior Sydney Water's, she has been fortunate enough to take on life-changing adventures all over the world. Two summers ago she traveled to Spain, last summer she visited Costa Rica, and this past summer she journeyed to Fiji and New Zealand. This summer she traveled through the company Global Works, which gives opportunities to kids all over the world to travel to travel abroad.

Key Club Shows That “Marian Cares”

Marian Central Key Club has demonstrated selfless service in their work, and with their biggest project of the year, Marian Cares.This service project involves organizing a food truck where students hand out food and other amenities around the community.
